Trust & safety

Are Freshlayer's cleaners insured?
Yes. Every clean carried out by Freshlayer Cleaning Ltd is fully insured, so you're covered for complete peace of mind — whether we're cleaning a home in Leeds, Bradford, Pudsey, Wakefield or Bramley.
Are your cleaners vetted before entering my home?
Yes. Every cleaner is carefully vetted before joining our team, so you can trust who's coming into your home or workplace.
What happens if something is damaged during a clean?
Because every clean is fully insured, accidental damage is covered. If this ever happens, get in touch straight away and we'll sort it out with you.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Customer satisfaction matters to us. If you're not happy with a particular area, let us know as soon as you can after your clean and we'll work with you to put it right.
Do I need to be home while the cleaner works?
Not necessarily. Plenty of customers arrange access in advance — a spare key, a keysafe, or a neighbour — so cleaning can happen while they're at work. Get in touch and we'll talk through what suits your property.

Pricing, quotes & cancellations

Why don't you publish a fixed price list?
Every property is different — size, condition and the type of clean you need all affect the time and work involved, so a one-size-fits-all price list wouldn't be accurate. We'd rather give you a proper quote based on your actual home or workplace. Call us on 0113 532 8130 and we'll talk it through.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form on our website or call 0113 532 8130. Tell us your postcode and what you need, and we'll come back to you with a clear, no-obligation quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments and bank transfer.
What's your cancellation policy?
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice are charged at 20% of the quoted price; cancellations made on the same day as the clean are charged at 50% of the quoted price. Get in touch as early as you can and we'll always try to find a solution that works for you.
Will the price change on the day of the clean?
The quote we give you is based on the details you provide when booking. If the property turns out to be significantly different from what was described, we'll always talk to you before doing any extra work — no surprise charges.

Booking & logistics

How much notice do you need to book a clean?
We recommend booking with as much notice as possible, but get in touch and we'll always try to accommodate short-notice requests where we can.
Can I set up a regular cleaning schedule?
Yes. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleaning schedules are all available — just let us know what suits your household or business and we'll set it up around you.
Do I need to provide cleaning products or equipment?
No. Our cleaners bring professional cleaning products and equipment with them. If you'd prefer specific products to be used in your home, just let us know when booking.
How does key or access work if I won't be home?
Many customers arrange a spare key, keysafe, or access via a neighbour or letting agent. Get in touch and we'll agree the best arrangement for your property before your first clean.
Can you fit in a same-day or short-notice clean?
Subject to availability, yes — contact our team and we'll do our best to help, whether you're in Leeds, Bradford, Pudsey, Wakefield or Bramley.

Service-specific questions

What's the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?
A standard clean covers the regular upkeep of your home — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces and general tidying — and suits weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits. A deep clean goes further, covering skirting boards, doors, light switches and other high-touch or often-missed areas, and is ideal as a one-off reset or seasonal refresh.
How is end of tenancy cleaning different to a regular clean?
End of tenancy cleaning is a thorough, deposit-focused clean designed to bring a property back to the standard it needs to be handed over — helping tenants protect their deposit and landlords or letting agents prepare for new tenants or inspections. It goes beyond a standard clean, paying close attention to the details that come up most often in check-out inspections.
What does your oven cleaning service include?
Our oven cleaning lifts baked-on grease and burnt-on residue from the oven, hob and extractor, leaving everything gleaming inside and out. It can be booked on its own or added to a standard or deep clean.
Do you clean Airbnb and short-let properties between guests?
Yes. We offer fast, dependable Airbnb and short-let turnover cleaning across Leeds, Bradford, Pudsey, Wakefield and Bramley, helping hosts keep a consistently high standard between guests.
Do you offer office and commercial cleaning?
Yes. We provide professional office and commercial cleaning scheduled around your business hours, keeping your workplace tidy, hygienic and welcoming.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Leeds and the surrounding areas, including Bradford, Pudsey, Wakefield and Bramley, along with neighbourhoods such as Headingley, Horsforth, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton and Morley.
